New Club Penguin Recipe Puffle Sugar Cookies

Every now and again Club Penguin releases brand new recipes with very creative names to keep us entertained by cooking and getting our taste buds to try new things! I have and probably always will love cooking because when I was younger it was my dream to become a professional chef now its my dream to become a professional recording artist like Usher. As I just mentioned I love cooking and due to this I check the Club Penguin’s recipe page to check if there are any new recipes for me to make and taste. To be honest I got a very good feeling that this one is going to be delicious! Its called “Puffle Sugar Cookies”
Looks tasty right?! I love the way its shaped perfectly to look exactly like a fluffy Puffle! If you are interested in making this recipe here are the ingredients and instructions you’ll need to make this delicious treat:
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar for decoration

Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, oil, confectioners’ sugar and white sugar until well blended.
  4. Stir in the eggs, vanilla and lemon extracts.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until well blended.
  6. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls.
  7. Place the cookies 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheet.
  8. Flatten cookies to 1/8 inch thickness using the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
  9. Cut a few triangle pieces from the top to make a Puffle shape.
  10. Colored sugar may be used if you do not plan to frost cookies later.
  11. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden brown.
  12. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Woohoo! Although this dish sounds like heaps of fun to make and delicious to eat it is very time consuming! It’ll take about thirty five minutes to prepare and twenty to twenty five minutes to actually make it but it will make forty eight Puffle Sugar Cookies! That’s a lot of numbers I just said there! Ha-ha. If you are going to attempt making this awesome treat make sure you ask a parent or guardian to help you out! Will you be making Puffle Sugar Cookies over the weekend?
